Our client had a neglected front yard that he wanted re-leveled and hydroseed installed. He has some great mature trees on the property so we left some large planting areas around them for any future plantings. We had to remove all of the invasive weeds, rocks and old grass that were existing in the lawn. Then we imported 100 cubic yards of soil to ensure that we had a nice nutrient-rich base for the seed to take. The whole lawn was hand graded and rolled to get it as smooth as possible. Because we were able to install the hydroseed while the temperatures were staying above 50 degrees at night but not terribly hot during the day the seed started to germinate in under a week. The before and after pictures really tell the whole story. For large lawn areas, hydroseed is a very cost-effective way to have a great looking, healthy lawn!
